Politics: War

WAR – noun and verb – Organized, large-scale, armed conflict between countries or between national, ethnic, or other sizeable groups, usually involving the engagement of military forces.

Our official viewpoints on war are similar, if not identical, to American Presidents from Washington to Eisenhower, Kennedy, and the lead singer of Black Sabbath, Ozzy Ozbourne, when he sang the song “War Pigs” so long ago at my 2nd rock and roll concert. I still love Elvis, but Ozzie made some good points too! “I LIKE IKE” was Eisenhower’s campaign slogan, and so do we… You might want to take a moment to hear what some of them had to say…

Around 10 years later, after the Kennedy Assassination and the Viet Nam War, here is what Ozzie Osbourne had to say about “WAR”… and “War Pigs” …

Don’t you agree? We think that almost everything we need to know is written in some song somewhere. How about this great song too? “War – What is it good for? Absolutely nothing!” by Edwin Starr way back in 1970, around the same time as Ozzie said much the same thing! I think Starr said it louder and clearer, but Ozzie and the band did a good job too!
